Refund policy

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through www.myhomebuild.ca and is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
1. General Policy
Due to the nature of building and construction materials, all sales are final unless otherwise stated.
Returns and refunds may be approved at the sole discretion of MyHomeBuild.ca, subject to the conditions below.
2. Eligible Returns
A return may be considered if:
- The item is unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
- The return request is submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery
- The product is in its original packaging

Non-returnable items include (but are not limited to):
- Custom or special-order materials
- Cut-to-size, mixed, or altered products
- Clearance or final-sale items

Installed, damaged, or used materials
3. Return Authorization Required
All returns must receive written approval before being sent back.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
4. Refunds
If a return is approved and inspected:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable
- Restocking fees may apply depending on the product and supplier
Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days after inspection.
5. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos of the product and packaging
- Keep all materials until instructed otherwise
Failure to report issues within 24 hours may void eligibility for replacement or refund.
6. Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before processing or dispatch.
Once materials have been shipped or prepared, cancellations are not permitted.
